Food Export Workshop Receives Great Reviews

In November 2015, 3mandarins presented at three workshops on IP Protection and International Brand Building. Australian business looking to expand their export of food products were invited to attend these free workshops held on the Central Coast, Perth and Margaret River. 3mandarains Founder and Managing Director, Greg Mikkelsen presented on international brand building while Scott Bouvier and Katie Lewis from global law firm, King & Wood Mallesons, presented on intellectual property protection. There we also a number of case studies presented by businesses with export experience.

The workshops were the first of their kind offered by the Export Council of Australia and Food Innovation Australia Ltd. (FIAL). The workshops received very positive feedback from those who attended. “It provides a comprehensive overview of the innovation, IP and branding side of business, especially for startups”, a business owner on the Central Coast commented. While participants in Perth reported that the workshops were “outstanding”, “well planned and delivered”, “relevant to industry” and “very pertinent to new entrants”.
